No. My Ally is built for many kinds of service businesses. Each business type gets its own profile, so the wording, customer records, pricing rules and AI guidance fit the way that trade works. A cleaning company tracks properties and square footage, while a tint shop tracks vehicles and film lines.

### Which businesses is My Ally built for today?

We currently offer tailored profiles for automotive businesses (auto repair, truck accessories and upfitting, spray-on bedliner and coatings, window tint, auto detailing, and vinyl wrap and PPF) and home and property services (commercial cleaning, handyman and home services, and general field service). Each one has its own playbook for pricing, intake questions, preferred brands and the kinds of stores it searches.

### Will you add more business types?

Yes. New industry profiles are being added over time. If your trade is not listed yet, the General Field Service profile works for most service businesses today, and you can email support@myallyai.app to tell us what you need.

### Can I try it before I get an invite?

Yes. The free sandbox lets you open a sample business for any of our profiles, filled with example customers, jobs and invoices. It is deleted automatically after a short time, and paid AI features are locked in the sandbox.

### How does the materials price lookup work?

You describe the job in plain words. My Ally lists the parts and supplies needed, uses AI models with live web search to find current prices at local and online retailers near your business ZIP code, links each price to the page it came from, suggests the best place to buy, and applies your materials markup (38 percent by default) plus estimated labor. Prices come from public store websites, so treat them as estimates and confirm before you order.

### Does it tell me when a job should be sent out?

Yes. Every lookup gives a verdict: do it in-house, order parts out, subcontract to a licensed contractor, or decline. It flags permits, licensing limits and jobs that are unsafe or outside your trade.

### Does it include scheduling?

Yes. You can book appointments by bay, crew or technician, see the day or month at a glance, and start a ticket from an appointment when the work begins.

### Can My Ally decode a VIN?

Yes, for automotive businesses. When you add a customer vehicle, entering the VIN fills in the year, make, model, trim and engine automatically.

### Does it handle commercial and fleet customers?

Yes. You can set up business accounts with net payment terms, track fleet vehicles, email account statements, and see an accounts-receivable aging report.

### Can I run more than one location?

Yes. Owners can manage several locations from one login, with owner, manager and staff roles. Each location's customers, invoices and settings stay separate, and each location can arrange its workspace menu its own way.
